First Growing in the Light Teleconference a Smashing Success

by Jay on

Tonight we held the inaugural Growing in the Light teleconference for graduates of the Taking It Lightly and Vets Journey Home weekends. Patricia Clason hosted the call and gave a presentation, with Jay Edgar guest speaker.

Tonight’s Topic: Enough Already! We looked at the hard-wired processes in our brain that can keep the “I’m not good enough” beliefs in place, plus a four-step process for shifting our stories and getting out of the hijacked state that can keep us stuck.

While unable to attend the conference call, I did listen to it. The discussion caused me to wonder if any of you have read Don Miguel Ruiz: The Voice of Knowledge, The Four Agreements, and/or The Mastery of Love. He seems to present this same material with a slightly different set of metaphors. Because I believe that our search for “answers” and “solutions” appropriate to our understanding of these underlying concepts depend on our relationship to those metaphors which we can best relate to. In this spirit I offer his writings as potentially useful in (y)our search for understanding.

I got home late from work and was still fixing dinner for my family at 7, so wasn’t able to participate live, but I appreciated getting to listen to the call afterwards, the next morning. Great reminders and great inspiration! Thanks, Patricia, Jay, and all who participated!

Thanks Patricia , Jay and all the participants for the reminder of staying in the “NOW “,as I sometimes let the darkness of fears, lack of confidence and failure enter into my being. When things go wrong and there’s to many decisions in life not wanting to take on more responsibility I let that darkness take over sometimes. I always have to pause and be grateful for what I am and what I have right now in the moment . Thanks for all the stories that were shared and the Inspirational words of Patricia and Jay !
Truly looking forward to the next teleconference ..

Thanks Jay and Patricia for presenting this conference. I was unable to attend on the actual night, however it was wonderful to be able to listen (again and again) to the discussion. I hope to be able to participate some time soon and this was a great 2nd option. Look forward to the next one.
